Job Description

As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in providing a managed service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a high level of service to clients through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, product reviews, operational improvements, operational practices, and quality assurance. You will be tasked with ensuring zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions, managing tickets of high complexity, conducting advanced tasks, and providing resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems. In this position, you will utilize your deep technical expertise and analytical thinking to achieve client outcomes, while also coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions. Additionally, you may contribute to or support project work as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolve complex network issues using deep knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and protocols. - Network Design and Architecture: Design and implement advanced network architectures for scalability, reliability, and security. - Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance data to optimize the network for better performance and efficiency. - Security Management: Implement and manage advanced security measures within the SD-WAN environment. - Policy Management: Develop and enforce network policies, including QoS and traffic management policies. - Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with other IT teams, provide guidance to junior engineers, and lead network projects. - Vendor Management: Coordinate with SD-WAN vendors for support, updates, and new implementations. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and performance reports. Your contributions in these areas will ensure that the SD-WAN infrastructure is robust, secure, and capable of meeting the demands of modern network environments. This role requires considerable judgment, independent analysis, and the application of deep technical expertise within defined policies and practices.
