About the Role

We are seeking an experienced L2 Network Engineer with a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure, focusing on Juniper-based equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). This position sits between the front-line (L1) support and advanced
(L3/architecture) teams, handling complex incidents, implementing configurations, and ensuring high network availability.

Roles & Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Juniper devices EX/QFX switches, Mist wireless solutions, and SRX firewalls.
Perform end-to-end network implementation, migration, and testing during project rollouts.
Configure and verify Virtual Chassis stacking, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, LACP, STP, OSPF, BGP, and static routes.
Implement and test security policies, NAT, and VPNs on SRX firewalls.
Deploy and manage Juniper Mist Cloud environments AP onboarding, SSID configuration, WLAN templates, RF templates, and policy assignments.
Utilize Mist s AI-driven insights, Marvis Virtual Assistant, and Wi-Fi Assurance tools for optimization and troubleshooting.
Configure Mist switching and gateway templates, wired assurance, and site-level policies.
Perform RF optimization, channel/power tuning, and client connectivity analysis using Mist dashboards.
Conduct site readiness checks, staging, testing, and cutover activities.
Prepare SOW, LLDs, configuration templates, and handover documentation.
Work with design and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and post-deployment support.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of routing and switching ARP, VLANs, STP, LACP, static routes, OSPF, BGP.
Hands-on experience with JunOS on EX, QFX, and SRX devices.
Proficiency with Juniper Mist Cloud:
AP onboarding, WLAN setup, SSID and RF templates.
Template-based configuration for multiple sites.
Wired/Wireless Assurance dashboards and analytics.
Marvis AI for issue detection and root cause analysis.
Understanding of Mist Edge and integration with SRX/EX platforms.
Knowledge of network security, NAT, VPN, and zone-based firewall concepts.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, Wireshark, etc).
Good communication and documentation skills.

Certifications

JNCIA-Junos, JNCIA-MistAI
JNCIS-ENT / JNCIS-SEC (preferred)
