Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Avionics System Architecture, ensuring effective Avionics Integration in aircraft platforms.
• Conduct ground testing and functional testing of aircraft systems to validate design and performance.
• Ensure compliance with certification and safety requirements, applying DFC (Design for Certification) and DFS (Design for Safety) principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select appropriate components and ensure system safety in design.
• Leverage hands-on experience with avionics systems from Garmin, Rockwell Collins, and/or Honeywell.
• Adhere to minimum performance standards, regulatory guidelines, and Advisory Circulars throughout the design lifecycle.
• Apply knowledge of EWIS 25.17xx design and certification requirements in system design and validation.
• Maintain rigorous focus on detail, safety, and reliability in all phases of system development.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, resolving design challenges, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements in processes, tools, and methodologies.

Experience Requirement:

• 8 - 16 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on avionics systems.
• Proven expertise in electrical system design and avionics integration.
• Strong background in system architecture development for aerospace applications.
• Experience with certification processes, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Practical knowledge of avionics testing, validation, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience working with avionics systems from Garmin, Rockwell Collins, and Honeywell.
• Familiarity with EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) design and certification requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional engineering environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in addressing complex aerospace design challenges.
