Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Solution Lead to drive data engineering and integration initiatives. The role involves leading a small team, owning solution design and delivery, and acting as the technical point of contact (POC) for client and internal discussions.

Role & responsibilities

Lead technical design and delivery of data engineering & ETL/ELT pipelines.
Act as the POC for client stakeholders and internal teams.
Optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL) for performance and scalability.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Mentor and guide engineers, ensuring accountability and quality.
Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies in data engineering.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong expertise in databases, SQL/NoSQL.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, DBT, etc.).
Good understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with analytics & reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and proven team leadership experience.
Self-starter with high ownership and accountability.
HR/Payroll (HCM) domain exposure.
Knowledge of DevOps, APIs, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
