Job Overview

The Solution Center Team supports the Enterprise to drive Customer Growth and Experience and the Distribution Channel business unit to make it easy for our Distribution partners to do business with TE. The organization consists of more than 400 employees who provide global service to both Customers and Distributors and drive growth for the organization.

Be the face and voice of TE Connectivity to drive company growth through proactive customer engagement and opportunity management. Make it easy for customers and distributors to do business with TE.


A Day in the Life of a TE Solution Consultant:

  • Drives revenue growth by proactively reaching out to customers via outbound calls and emails (cold and warm) to identify, qualify and nurture sales opportunities.
  • Manages and nurtures a pipeline of small and medium customer opportunities through regular touchpoints, follow-ups and consultative conversations.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders including Distributor Marketing Managers (DMMs), Product Management, Product Engineering, Sales and Customer Care to align on customer needs and advance opportunities.
  • Partners with TE authorized distributors to provide quotations, support order processing and ensure timely fulfillment of customer requests.
  • Maintains opportunity hygiene in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and activity tracking.

What your background should look like:

Education:
Bachelors technical or business degree preferred or equivalent experience

Skills & Experience

  • Strong sales acumen with experience in inside sales, account management or opportunity nurturing.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates influencing and relationship-building skills across customers, distributors and internal teams.
  • Comfortable with proactive outbound calling and email-based customer engagement.
  • Experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage pipeline and opportunity hygiene.
  • Team player, self-motivated, results-driven and able to maintain a proactive, positive attitude.
  • A passion for serving customers and driving business growth.
