Technical Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for Engineering roles such as Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, R&D Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Test Engineers, Validation Engineers, and Systems Engineers.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, niche job boards, professional associations, and competitive market mapping.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of specialized engineering talent for current and future hiring needs.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Engineering leadership to understand technical requirements, competencies, and team needs.
  • Conduct intake meetings, develop job descriptions, and set hiring timelines and expectations.
  • Provide talent market insights, salary benchmarking, and competitive intelligence to support hiring decisions.

Recruitment Operations

  • Screen and evaluate candidates for technical proficiency, regulatory awareness, problem-solving skills, and cultural fit.
  • Drive interview processes, schedule assessments, and ensure a positive candidate experience end-to-end.
  • Maintain accurate data in the ATS and provide timely reporting on recruitment metrics.
  • Support employer branding initiatives within the engineering and medical device communities.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to FDA, ISO, and internal quality system requirements.
  • Follow structured and compliant hiring processes consistent with medical device industry standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–8+ years of recruiting experience

    , with at least

    2+ years hiring engineers in the Medical Device or regulated life-sciences industry

    .
  • Strong understanding of engineering competencies (mechanical, electrical, firmware, systems, manufacturing, quality).
  • Experience recruiting in

    FDA-regulated

    or

    ISO 13485

    environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience hiring for Class II or Class III medical devices.
  • Familiarity with IEC, ISO, FDA, and risk-management standards (e.g., 21 CFR Part 820).
  • Strong network of engineering professionals in MedTech.
  • Ability to influence and consult with hiring managers at all levels.
