Job Description

8 + years of experience in Authoring of automotive technical content for systems description and operations.
Gather information on new vehicles/technical subject areas, establishing and utilising key contacts within the business.
Experience in creating conte nt and illustrations for the manuals for automotive and/or Heavy engineering domain like Service, Repair, operations, owners, maintenance, Parts Catalogue etc.
Good understanding of automobiles parts assemblies and processes
Must have hands on experience in w indchill for creation of Publication structure, Parts list, Graphic information elements list and change notice. Use of BOM trans former for service BOM creation in Windchill.
Good understanding of DITA-XML & CMS systems
Must have hands on experience in auth oring tools like MS-Office, InDesign, Framemaker, Arbortext editor (SGML/xml based), cortona etc.
Experience on illustration tools like Creo illustrate, Isodraw, Adobe illustrator, 3D via composer
