Technical Publication

Role Overview: You should have 8+ years of experience in authoring automotive technical content for systems description and operations. Your responsibilities will include gathering information on new vehicles and technical subject areas, establishing and utilizing key contacts within the business. You must have experience in creating content and illustrations for manuals in the automotive and/or heavy engineering domain, such as service, repair, operations, owners, maintenance, parts catalogue, etc. Additionally, a good understanding of automobile parts assemblies and processes is required. Key Responsibilities: - Create content and illustrations for manuals in the automotive and/or heavy engineering domain - Utilize Windchill for the creation of Publication structure, Parts list, Graphic information elements list, and change notice - Use BOM transformer for service BOM creation in Windchill - Understand and work with DITA-XML & CMS systems - Utilize authoring tools such as MS-Office, InDesign, Framemaker, Arbortext editor (SGML/XML based), cortona, etc. - Work with illustration tools like Creo illustrate, Isodraw, Adobe Illustrator, 3D via composer, coral draw Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of experience in authoring automotive technical content - Proficiency in Windchill for Publication structure creation and Parts list management - Knowledge of DITA-XML & CMS systems - Experience with authoring tools including MS-Office, InDesign, Framemaker, Arbortext editor, cortona, etc. - Familiarity with illustration tools like Creo illustrate, Isodraw, Adobe Illustrator, 3D via composer, coral draw,
