Technical Project Manager- AI

Job Purpose:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data engineering and Gen AI projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Who You Are:

• Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data engineering and Gen AI projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Technical Management: Manage project teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and developers. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Risk & Resource Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. Allocate and manage project resources (personnel, budget, and technology) effectively to ensure timely delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with the project team in completing projects.

• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in eitherAWS or Azureservices relevant to data and AI, such as:
• AWS: S3, Redshift, Glue, SageMaker, EMR, Lambda, EC2, etc.
• Azure: Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, etc.
• Data & AI Concepts: Strong understanding of data engineering principles (ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, data lakes) and machine learning concepts, especially in the context ofGenerative AImodels (e.g., LLMs, GANs).
• Development Background: Prior experience as a software developer, data engineer, or data scientist is essential. Proficiency in a programming language likePythonand familiarity withSQLand big data technologies (e.g., Spark).

Project Management Skills:

• Methodologies: Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a solid grasp of waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Tools: Proficiency with project management software like Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar tools.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive projects to successful completion.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
