Technical Program Manager

You are an experienced and dynamic Technical Program Manager sought by Stupa Analytics to spearhead strategic technology initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality solutions in the sports analytics ecosystem. The ideal candidate possesses a robust technical program management background coupled with a strong product thinking perspective, with exposure to product management practices being an added advantage. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and overseeing technical projects from inception to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and product roadmaps. You will lead the strategic implementation of technical initiatives by translating high-level business and product goals into actionable plans and clear deliverables. Collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering teams, you will integrate product thinking, user-focused design principles, and business requirements into the technical planning and delivery processes. As a Technical Program Manager, you should excel in a fast-paced environment by driving cross-team collaboration, strategic alignment, and ensuring continuous delivery of valuable solutions. Your role will involve providing accurate effort estimations, detailed project planning, and effectively managing resource allocation, timelines, dependencies, and risks. You will be expected to promote Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to foster transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams. Furthermore, you will play a key role in fostering a strong and collaborative culture that emphasizes a product mindset, customer value, and high-quality technical execution. Your communication skills will be crucial as you will be required to clearly communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders, ensuring visibility and alignment throughout the organization. Additionally, you will mentor and guide teams on best practices in technical delivery, agile methodology, and strategic product thinking. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a Master's degree being preferred. You should have a minimum of 6+ years" experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, Delivery Management, or similar roles, preferably in technology-driven or SaaS environments. Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management software is essential. Your technical background should include an understanding of software development lifecycles, software architectures, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and modern technology stacks. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are crucial for aligning technical execution with product and business objectives. Additionally, you should possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, a strategic mindset, and a proactive approach to risk management. Preferred qualifications include exposure or previous experience in a formal Product Management role or relevant product-focused responsibilities, as well as relevant professional certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM-I), or SAFe Agilist. Any previous experience or interest in sports analytics, sports technology, or SaaS platforms would be considered advantageous.,
