Technical Program Manager, SRE

If you aim to be a top-notch program manager, Qualys would like to have a discussion with you. **Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute comprehensive programs, considering technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines for on-time technology solution delivery. - Plan, monitor, and drive project execution, providing effective status updates and progress metrics to relevant stakeholders. - Coordinate release and backlog planning with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security Operations. - Collaborate with SRE Operations leadership to establish quarterly roadmaps and facilitate technical decisions for clarity across teams. - Proactively identify risks and issues, leveraging program management skills, technical background, and product knowledge for their resolution. - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Project/Program managers, Engineering, and Cloud Operations team to ensure timely project delivery. - Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, and others to track project status and provide easily accessible metrics for stakeholders. - Work with internal Security groups to manage vulnerabilities, enhance code security, and improve security posture. - Drive process adoption, analyze current practices, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements. - Identify system improvements, research new tools, and ensure that the Qualys Cloud Platform remains robust, highly available, and transparent in operations. **Required Qualifications:** - Graduate/ Post Graduate in computer science, information technology, or related fields. - 12+ years of overall professional experience in the software industry. - 5+ years of proven experience in Technical program/project management. - Proficiency in Project Management Tools, preferably Atlassian JIRA & Confluence. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. - Working knowledge of various project management frameworks and experience with Agile/Scaled Agile methodologies. - Experience in managing cross-functional programs, developing & driving release schedules. - Familiarity with cloud technologies and services such as AWS, GCP, OCI. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Project management or Agile certifications like PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, etc. - Experience with SRE tools such as CI/CD, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana. - Previous experience in software development or site reliability engineering/TPM would be a significant advantage.,
