Technical Program Manager, SRE

As a Technical Program Manager - SRE at Qualys, you will be responsible for driving complex programs by understanding the technical components and their dependencies, partnering with cross-functional teams, developing execution plans, and ensuring timely delivery. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, architectural discussions, and challenge your technical acumen. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute comprehensive programs, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions. - Plan, monitor, and drive project execution, providing effective status and progress metrics to relevant stakeholders. - Coordinate release and backlog planning and prioritization with cross-functional teams such as Product Engineering, Infrastructure & Security Operations. - Establish quarterly roadmaps and facilitate technical decisions to ensure clarity across teams. - Proactively identify risks, issues, and drive their resolution using program management skills, technical background, and product knowledge. - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fellow Project/Program managers, Engineering, and Cloud Operations team to collaborate for timely project delivery. - Use tools like JIRA, Confluence for tracking project status, ensuring metrics accessibility for stakeholders. - Coordinate with internal Security groups for vulnerability management, code security, and drive security posture improvement. - Drive process adoption, analyze current processes, identify gaps, and suggest improvements. - Identify system improvements, research, and suggest new tools to ensure Qualys Cloud Platform's robustness, high availability, and transparency in operations. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate/ Post Graduate in computer science, information technology, or similar fields. - 12+ years of overall professional experience in the software industry. - 5+ years of proven experience in Technical program/project management. - Hands-on experience in Project Management Tools, preferably Atlassian- JIRA & Confluence. - Excellent communication skills & ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences. - Working knowledge of various project management frameworks and guided teams using Agile/Scaled Agile for software product releases. - Experience managing cross-functional programs, building & driving release schedules. - Working knowledge of cloud technologies and services such as AWS, GCP, OCI. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Project management or Agile certifications - PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, etc. - Experience with SRE tools like CI/CD, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Observability- Prometheus, Grafana. - Prior software development or site reliability engineering/TPM experience is a huge plus.,
