Technical Program Manager, Google Cloud Business Platform

Role Overview: As a Technical Program Manager at Google, your role is crucial in leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You will be responsible for planning requirements with internal customers, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating them clearly to project stakeholders. Your ability to understand and discuss technical trade-offs in product development with engineers is essential. You will also play a key role in identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and driving the technical direction of your programs. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a program portfolio in a fluid environment. - Work cross-functionally with a geographically distributed team to understand, implement, and deploy ordering platform solutions. - Establish an operations measurement framework for data quality and governance, and develop and execute a strategy. - Anticipate change management requirements as needed by program stakeholders. - Support the team with all required elements of project planning and delivery, utilizing your knowledge of project methodologies, tools, and techniques. - Design and deliver improved program communication plans, including executive and stakeholder communications. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in technical projects or program management.
