Technical Program Manager, Fleet Optimization for Reliability, Capacity and Efficiency

Role Overview: As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects using your technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include planning requirements, identifying risks, managing project schedules, and effectively communicating with cross-functional partners. Key Responsibilities: - Own cross-functional projects in Central Fleet, which manages the majority of Google's compute and storage infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet OKRs, deliver time-bound projects, enhance legacy systems and processes, and improve overall systems efficiency. - Plan requirements with internal customers, drive projects through their lifecycle, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate goals clearly to stakeholders across functions and time zones. - Develop business cases, define business requirements, and collaborate with engineering teams to create sustainable solutions for fleet issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in program management. - Experience in defining business requirements and translating them to product launches by working with engineering teams. - Experience in SQL and data visualization. - Preferred qualifications include 5 years of managing cross-functional, multi-geography programs, owning KPIs and OKRs, knowledge of Data center technology, and delivering time-sensitive outcomes to solve critical problems.,
