About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager with strong technical expertise to lead and coordinate the development, implementation, and delivery of enterprise-scale technology platforms at Workruit. This role demands a blend of product thinking, project execution, stakeholder management, and hands-on understanding of web/mobile technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing internal teams and working directly with clients to gather requirements, plan releases, conduct demos, maintain documentation, and ensure timely delivery.

This is a WFO-only position; occasional work from client locations may be required. Remote work is not permitted.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Requirement Management

  • Lead requirement gathering workshops with clients and convert business needs into structured product specifications.
  • Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), functional flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, and QA teams to translate requirements into high-quality deliveries.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Define release plans, sprint goals, and delivery milestones.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, tracking, reporting, and risk management.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and resource coordination for smooth execution.
  • Ensure cross-team alignment and efficient workflow across development, QA, deployment, and support teams.
  • Conduct internal reviews, validations, and testing before client delivery.

Client Management & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and projects.
  • Provide regular project updates, gather feedback, and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Demonstrate platform capabilities through structured demos and presentations.
  • Handle issue escalation, resolution tracking, and expectation management.

Documentation & Quality Assurance

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, PRDs, SRS, flow diagrams, and release notes.
  • Oversee test plans, UAT coordination, and validation of feature readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and performance standards where required.

Technical Orientation

  • Possess a strong understanding of technology architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud deployments, databases, and mobile/web ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate feasibility and provide technical clarity to clients.
  • Support roadmap planning by identifying technical constraints, solution alternatives, and optimization opportunities.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience managing enterprise or large-scale tech platforms.
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in giving demos, creating structured presentations, and training client teams.
  • Team coordination and cross-functional leadership.

Technical Skills Required

  • Understanding of web and mobile application architecture.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, and data flows.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Tools exposure: Jira / ClickUp / Trello, Figma / Whimsical, Postman, Confluence, Git basics (optional but preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and system design diagrams.
  • Comfort working with engineering teams and interpreting technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise technology platforms.
  • Experience handling government, public-sector, or large corporate projects (added advantage).
  • Strong understanding of user experience, workflows, and data-driven systems.
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, PMP (preferred but not mandatory).

Work Environment

  • Work From Office (WFO) Hyderabad
  • Travel may be required to client locations within India.
  • No remote or work-from-home option.
