Technical Product Manager

Role & responsibilities

Highly motivated Product Manager who can lead strategy, development, and lifecycle management for an enterprise-grade platform composed of microservices deployed on Red Hat OpenShift Platform. This platform serves as the foundation for scalable, secure, and resilient digital applications across our organization.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping product vision, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering world-class developer experience for application teams building on top of the platform.

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the product roadmap for the microservices platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business goals, and application development needs.

• Customer-Centric Design: Engage with internal stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and pain points and translate them into platform capabilities and service offerings.
• Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of platform servicesideation, prioritization, development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, architecture, security, and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of microservices on OpenShift.
• Governance & Compliance: Define and enforce standards for microservice design, deployment, observability, and governance within the platform ecosystem.
• Developer Enablement: Drive initiatives to improve developer onboarding, documentation, SDKs, and automation pipelines for building and integrating with platform services.
• Metrics & Feedback: Establish KPIs to measure platform adoption, performance, and reliability. Continuously gather feedback to inform future enhancements.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior product managers and cross-functional teams.

Experience/ Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of total experience, at least 7 years in product management of software/middleware/platform products.
• Must have experience in IT product-based organizations handling the product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API-first design, and container orchestration using OpenShift (or Kubernetes).
• Experience managing developer platforms, SaaS/PaaS products, or internal service marketplaces.
• Proven ability to define product strategy and translate vision into actionable roadmaps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling is a plus.
• Proven ability to define product release management strategy and processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Employment Type:

• All positions are on fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years and renewable post five years.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe POPM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Any other certification in product/program/project management
