Technical Product Designer

As a TPI Engineer in LIXIL INDIA PVT LTD, your role as a Technical Product Designer / Technical Illustrator will involve creating technical drawings for various print media and online documentation. You will collaborate with international teams in Germany, USA, and China to generate technical documents aiming to visually inform customers about products. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing documentation for both print and new digital technical possibilities. Researching the evolving requirements of technical illustration and publication, as well as proposing standardization for current documentation processes within group companies, are also key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Create technical drawings for print media and online documentation in collaboration with international teams. - Generate technical documents to visually inform customers about products. - Manage documentation for both print and new digital technical possibilities. - Research evolving requirements of technical illustration and publication. - Analyze current documentation processes within group companies and propose standardization. As part of your strategic responsibilities, you will need to visualize technical relationships to optimally inform customers about products. Your internal stakeholders will primarily include international teams in R&D Teams in Germany, USA, and China, while your external stakeholders will be customers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, or equivalent. - Minimum of 2+ years of working experience using CAD systems and PLM systems. - Experience as a technical product designer / technical illustrator is preferred. - Project development experience in a consumer durable goods business is preferred. - First professional experience in the design/manufacturing/testing of sanitary fitting or comparable products is preferred. You should have the ability to handle CAD systems (SolidEdge) and PLM systems (SAP) proficiently, along with a good command of common Google applications. Strong written and spoken English skills, organizational capabilities, teamwork spirit, and confident handling of SolidEdge and SAP are essential for this role. Knowledge of DTP systems (Framemaker) would be an added advantage.,
