Associate Project Engineer - Design (Solidedge or Solidworks Skills) We are hiring an enthusiastic Associate Project Engineer - Design with 6 months to 1 year of experience. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or diploma holders with a strong foundation in mechanical/production engineering from a reputed college. The candidate should be proficient in SolidEdge or Solidworks, specifically for sheet metal or casting domain design. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting senior designers in creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings of components. For sheet metal, you'll learn to develop flat patterns and manage bends. For casting, you'll understand design considerations for moldability. This role requires strong foundational design skills, a good understanding of engineering principles, and a keen eye for detail. Issue complete manufacturing drawing package for manufacturing plant. 3D-modeling in Solid edge and building 3D library in Team center. Creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) Creation of all necessary tool drawings for manufacturing. Instrumentation and Components Datasheets Preparation Calculation of all process equipment according to the specified specifications. Design according to various international standards for pressure vessels Assigning the tasks to CAD Draughtsman and review, validates their output Required Skills and experience Education Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with 3 to 5 years relevant Industrial experience (or) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 years relevant industrial experience Industry Experience Minimum 2-8 years’ experience in detailed drafting in Pressure Vessels /Filters/ Piping / Seal support systems or similar fluid control systems products or Complex Machineries or process equipment. Strong hands-on skills in Solid Edge 3D/2D with customization & library creation for 3D part, sub- assemblies & main assemblies. Work experience in Solid Edge 3D CAD automation project in Engineering service companies and sound CAD programming skills will be added advantage. Should have very good application knowledge of GD&T in Design of precision assemblies Good analytical skills and technical background Self Motivated and quick learner Excellent verbal and oral communication skills Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills Customer service and business oriented.
