Technical Marketing Engineer

As a Technical Marketing Engineer at our company, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our ambition in India by leveraging your technical expertise to bridge the gap between our R&D teams and customers. Your proactive nature and deep understanding of the automotive industry will be instrumental in enhancing our product's market reach and driving business growth. By spearheading marketing campaigns and promoting Telechips brand image, product superiority, and solution advantages in the Indian market, you will contribute significantly to our success. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include driving business development and customer engagement within the Indian Automotive Market. Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, participating in marketing initiatives to boost brand and product visibility, and providing on-site technical support will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, a willingness to travel for business requirements is essential to ensure effective customer support and market penetration. To excel in this role, you should possess strong and proactive communication skills, along with qualities such as maturity, independence, responsibility, motivation, and trustworthiness. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant engineering roles within the automotive electronics industry, particularly in R&D, FAE, or Technical Support, you should also have a background in Software Engineering or experience with mass-production projects related to Automotive Applications, Middleware, or BSP for IVI or Cluster systems. Proficiency in Android and Linux-based development environments, as well as development using C or C++, is required. A broad understanding of Application Processors (AP) and related work experience, coupled with analytical problem-solving skills and meticulous planning abilities, will further enhance your effectiveness in this role. Preferred qualifications include existing relationships with Automotive Tier-1 and OEMs, knowledge of modern vehicle architecture such as SDV, HPC, ADAS, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity, experience in project management or relevant certifications, familiarity with Yocto development, and expertise in writing and managing technical documentation. This is a permanent position based primarily at our upcoming India representative office in Pune, with pre-launch arrangements at co-working spaces in India, the headquarters in Korea, or the Singapore branch.
