Technical Manager-Seasafe

As a dedicated member of the SeaSafe Maine team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure quality in our processes and daily operations while maintaining compliance with regulations, company policies, and procedures. You will collaborate with various stakeholders such as the Director, Service Manager, Service Engineers, Sales team, and clients to provide technical support and engineering solutions related to lifeboats, davit systems, and FFE. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be essential in reviewing client service inquiries, preparing quotations, managing work schedules, and conducting engineering briefings. In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of service work performed by reviewing service reports, approving SeaSafe Marine certifications, and organizing training schedules for service engineers and third parties. Your extensive work experience of at least 10 years in lifeboats, survival crafts, davit & FFE systems related field will be invaluable in this role. Moreover, your knowledge of Marine Regulations, SOLAS III/20 & MSC requirements, and Shipboard Operations will enable you to carry out Class/Flag/ISO audits for SeaSafe. To excel in this position, you must possess Bizsafe risk management and level 2 certification along with a Shipyard Safety Supervisor Certificate. Your ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks and industry standards will be critical to your success in this role. By maintaining the training matrix and continuously developing the skill base of the service engineers, you will contribute to the overall success and growth of SeaSafe Maine.,
