Technical Manager Digital & Emerging Tech

As a Technical Manager at Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), your primary responsibility is to explore, validate, and implement innovative digital solutions at Bangalore Airport. You will engage in identifying suitable technologies, estimating costs and efforts, conducting proof of concepts (PoCs), preparing RFPs, evaluating solutions, and selecting the right partners. Your role will involve providing technical guidance, ensuring successful implementation, and collaborating with teams to drive innovation, solve challenges, and deliver high-quality results. - Engaging in identifying suitable technologies, estimating costs and efforts, conducting proof of concepts (PoCs), preparing RFPs, evaluating solutions, and selecting partners - Providing technical guidance, ensuring successful implementation, and collaborating with teams - Collaborating with business teams, understanding operational needs, proposing technology solutions, and introducing innovations into the airport ecosystem - Developing target architectures, validating designs, ensuring implementations adhere to best practices and security standards - Overseeing IT projects" lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery within budget, and meeting technical and business requirements - Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies, engaging with vendors, startups, and OEMs, shortlisting potential technologies, and conducting PoCs - Managing relationships with external vendors, financial aspects, renewal of AMCs and licenses, CAPEX & OPEX budgeting, and cost management To be successful in this role, you should possess an M.C.A. / B.E. / B. Tech Degree in IT with relevant experience, along with 7 - 10 years of total experience in technology leadership roles focusing on innovation and emerging technologies. Hands-on experience with emerging technology platforms and frameworks, understanding of regulatory and ethical considerations related to new technologies, and experience in managing third-party vendors, technology partners, and internal teams are essential. - M.C.A. / B.E. / B. Tech Degree in IT with 7 - 10 years of technology leadership experience - Hands-on experience with emerging technology platforms, understanding of regulatory and ethical considerations, and managing vendors and internal teams - Strong computer skills in programming & scripting, cloud platforms & data tools, project management, stakeholder management, technical writing, and problem-solving - Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, data governance, maintenance & support, and continuous learning of new technologies Please note that this is a Contract role and requires 5 days of work from the office.,
