Job Description

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of scalable and high-performance web applications using Angular.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product managers.
Define and enforce best practices in front-end architecture, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessible front-end applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular releases and ecosystem changes and apply them when appropriate.

Technical Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in front-end development with at least 3 years in Angular (v8+).
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
Hands-on experience with state management libraries like NgRx or Akita.
Proficient with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming.
Experience in leading and mentoring front-end teams.
Strong understanding of unit testing (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Protractor, Cypress).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-have skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Angular Universal (SSR) and PWA development.
Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Angular Material).
Exposure to Docker, Node.js, or backend frameworks is a plus.
Knowledge of performance tuning and web accessibility (WCAG).
