Technical Lead Component

As a candidate for the position, your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing External shift system & Clutch operating system. - Leading component development engineers for effective implementation of design changes and development of components, sub-assemblies, and aggregates. - Participating and leading all technical topics in cross-functional team meetings. - Leading global localization/product design and development activities for subsystem from RFQ phase till the start of regular production. - Coordinating different task forces in crisis situations. - Executing projects as per project schedule and allocated budget, ensuring technical correctness and timely implementation. - Updating top management regularly on the project progress and implementing directions. - Communicating design risks, related changes, and impacts to all cross-functional teams like purchasing, quality, project, and manufacturing. - Leading supplier technical reviews along with different cross-functional teams. The qualifications and skill set required for this role are: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Discipline. - 14-20 years of experience in External shift system & Clutch operating system Design and Development. - Experience in leading multiple Design & Development projects. - Experience in validation of External shift system, Clutch & DMF. - Sound knowledge of component design, detailing, tolerance, and stack-up analysis. - Good knowledge of materials and heat treatment processes. - Familiarity with APQP processes. - Preferable knowledge of structural simulations (CAE). - Strong soft skills. - Ability to lead a team of engineers and effectively interact with top management.,
