Technical Lead Component

As a candidate for the role of Design and Development Engineer for External shift system & Clutch operating system, your responsibilities will include: - Designing and Developing External shift system & Clutch operating system. - Leading component development engineers to implement design changes and develop components, sub-assemblies, and aggregates effectively. - Participating and leading technical topics in cross-functional team meetings. - Leading global localization/product design and development activities for subsystem from RFQ phase to the start of regular production. - Coordinating different task forces in crisis situations. - Executing projects as per schedule and allocated budget, ensuring technical correctness and timely implementation. - Updating top management regularly on the project's progress and implementing directions from them. - Communicating design risks, related changes, and impacts to all cross-functional teams like purchasing, quality, project, and manufacturing. - Leading supplier technical reviews with various cross-functional teams. The qualifications and skill set required for this role are as follows: - Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Discipline. - 14-20 years of experience in External shift system & Clutch operating system Design and Development. - Experience in leading Design & Development projects. - Experience in the validation of External shift system, Clutch & DMF. - Sound knowledge of component design, detailing, tolerance, and stack-up analysis. - Good knowledge of materials and heat treatment processes. - Familiarity with APQP processes. - Knowledge of structural simulations (CAE) would be preferable. - Strong soft skills. - Ability to lead a team of engineers and interact effectively with top management.,
