Role Overview: At Cisco's IIOT Business Unit, you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to building innovative Industrial IoT products like switches, routers, and wireless devices. Your role will involve developing Wireless Access Points, Controllers, and advanced network security technologies to empower businesses to connect and automate critical infrastructure. Working closely with various teams across Cisco, you will contribute to turning great ideas into real-world solutions for leading organizations worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Build and develop Control Plane and Data Plane software for Cisco Networking products and Security Platforms, utilizing AI and AI-assisted approaches. - Collaborate with teammates to analyze requirements, develop software builds, and create clear and functional specifications. - Write, test, and automate high-quality software components with a focus on open systems and scalable testing. - Work with identity security technologies such as WebAuth and Dot1X. - Support customers by investigating and resolving issues in IIoT or Wireless deployments. - Partner with local and remote colleagues to review requirements, design documents, and test plans to ensure high-quality solutions. - Share ideas and collaborate on innovative solutions that may lead to new patents and intellectual property. Qualifications Required: - Seeking a top-tier Technical Lead with 14+ years of expertise in real-time embedded systems development. - Strong coding skills in C programming. - Hands-on experience with control or data plane software, data structures, Linux/RTOS/Networking OS internals, or wireless networking (802.11/ac/ax/be). - Experience with network security protocols (PKI, MacSec, IPSec, OpenSSL, Cryptography, TLS), and federal certifications for network products. - Background in IoT, Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking, or network security.
