Role Overview

Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the development of

  network-centric software systems

  , APIs, and service components.
• Architect and implement high-performance

  C++ backend modules

  for packet processing, control-plane logic, and distributed services.
• Oversee

  frontend engineering

  in ReactJS for management dashboards and real-time network monitoring.
• Drive data layer design using

  MongoDB

  and

  ScyllaDB

  for scalability and low-latency access.
• Collaborate with networking and DevOps teams to integrate with

  Private 5G / SDN / cloud-native infrastructures

  .
• Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and enforce design and quality standards.
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies and ensure alignment with MatreComms architecture and product roadmap.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years

  of software development experience with at least

  3 years in a lead or architect role

  .
• Expertise in

  C++ (11/14/17)

  with strong understanding of multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience in

  ReactJS / JavaScript / TypeScript

  for front-end application development.
• Strong background in

  networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, gRPC, etc.)

  and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with

  MongoDB

  and/or

  ScyllaDB

  .
• Understanding of

  Linux networking, sockets programming, asynchronous I/O

  , and

  high-availability architectures

  .
• Exposure to

  Kubernetes

  ,

  Docker

  , and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of

  5G/4G core functions

  or

  Private 5G network elements

  .
• Experience with

  network analytics

  ,

  monitoring systems

  , or

  edge computing

  .
• Familiarity with

  CMake

  ,

  gRPC

  ,

  WebSockets

  frameworks.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
