Technical Lead

As a PHP Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of PHP developers to create robust, scalable, and secure web applications. Your key responsibilities include architecting, designing, and developing web applications using PHP and related technologies. You will also be tasked with optimizing and managing database schemas, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting complex technical issues to ensure application stability and performance. In addition to technical leadership, you will drive technical excellence by promoting best practices in coding, testing, and software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum. You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers. To excel in this role, you must have at least 9 years of extensive professional experience in PHP development and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should also possess proven experience in a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Senior Developer role with leadership responsibilities. Deep expertise in at least one major PHP MVC framework, particularly Laravel, is essential, along with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries is required. You should also have solid experience with relational databases, especially MySQL, API development, and integration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will need to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with AWS cloud services, performance tuning, optimization of web applications, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies are considered advantageous for this role.
