Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Role Overview

natural food colour raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods

Key Responsibilities

Conduct
routine analysis
of raw materials, intermediates, and finished natural colour products.
Test and validate
key parameters
(colour value, pH, solubility, stability, microbiological safety, heavy metals, etc.).
Generate and review
Certificates of Analysis (COA)
for customer dispatches.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, TLC, GC-MS, etc.).
Perform
shelf-life and stability studies
for natural colour batches.
Ensure compliance with
FSSAI, Codex, FDA, EFSA, ISO, FSSC
and internal standards.
Assist during
internal and external quality audits
.
Maintain proper
records, SOPs, and documentation
for traceability.

Qualifications & Skills

B.Sc./M.Sc. in
Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field
.
5+ years of experience in
Quality Control of food ingredients / natural colours
.
Practical knowledge of
wet chemistry and instrumental methods
(HPLC, UV-Vis, TLC, etc.).
Strong knowledge of
food safety and regulatory standards
.
Attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
