Job Requirement Project Role: Oracle Forms and Reports Consultant Work Experience: 4 to 6 years Work Location: Chennai Only Work from Office Project Role Description We are looking for an experienced Oracle Forms and Reports Consultant who has a strong background in developing and maintaining Oracle Forms and Reports applications. The role will be a mix of production support (50%) and development (50%) work. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and be able to work independently while collaborating with business users in the US. Technical Expertise Must Have Skills: Strong experience in Oracle Forms (10g/11g/12c) and Oracle Reports. Deep knowledge of triggers, events, canvases, master-child forms, record groups, built-ins, and properties in Forms and Reports. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL concepts. Strong understanding and usage of Analytical and Aggregate functions. Skilled in writing efficient Procedures, Functions, and Packages. Proficient in using Cursors, Collections, and Exception Handling. Strong understanding of Datatypes, Constraints, and Indexes. Strong skills in analyzing existing code to identify bugs and implement performance enhancements. Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle APEX. Exposure to JavaScript and ReactJS. Familiarity with Power Apps for enterprise-grade application development. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Design and develop Oracle Forms and Reports applications based on business requirements. Customize and enhance existing forms and reports for improved performance and usability. Database Integration: Work with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, 19c to manage back-end integrations. Develop PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers. Design efficient data models and ensure optimal database performance. Application Maintenance: Maintain and support existing Oracle Forms applications. Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis for system errors or bugs. Monitor application performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. User Experience: Work closely with business users to gather requirements and ensure a seamless user experience. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Oracle Forms applications. Document and communicate best practices, development standards, and workflows. Educational Qualification MCA, B.E, M.Sc (CS) or any other equivalent degree with relevant work experience. Oracle SQL / PLSQL Certification.
