Job Description

Role Overview: As a Technical Business Analyst in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane, your role will involve working collaboratively with T&T teams and stakeholders to obtain, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for Projects and other assigned tasks. You will be a part of DET Corporate Functions, closely interacting with Project and Iteration Managers, Development and Testing teams, Product owners, and stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results in alignment with Suncorp business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Support the process of Business context and Requirements gathering - Support in defining MVPs, features/stories, and benefits - Facilitate elaboration sessions and attend other necessary workshops - Undertake technical analysis, define and document business logic, mapping, governance, and success criteria - Document and deliver Project artifacts as required - Assist in estimating for Delivery Phase - Assist in the development of flight plan and milestones - Attend and contribute to agile ceremonies like Iteration Planning, Stand-up meetings, Retrospectives, and Showcases - Proactively identify RAIDS (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) - Support the development and testing team in understanding requirements - Support test planning and execution - Contribute to Knowledge Transfer during and after project delivery - Identify improvement opportunities for project delivery - Perform other necessary duties as assigned by Project/Iteration manager - Maintain ongoing dialogue and relationships with Stakeholders for continued solution development and support - Promote continuous improvement through review processes and demonstrate individual leadership skills Qualifications Required: - Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or associated field (Desired) Additional Details: - The role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in a business/system analyst role, specifically in the Banking domain (Mandatory). Experience in Risk, Compliance & Legal will also be highly encouraged. - Project lifecycle experience is mandatory, along with experience in finance projects and understanding of related functional aspects. - Proficiency in working with distributed teams and a track record of working in a fast-paced collaborative cross-functional environment is desired. - Strong skills in internal consultation, negotiation, stakeholder management, presentation, communication, facilitation, workshop, problem-solving, troubleshooting, business research, analytical skills, SQL, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Business Process Modelling, Data Modelling, Data Warehouse concepts, Agile development practices, and more are required. - Good knowledge of Insurance/Finance domain, planning/forecasting, data reporting visualization platforms, JIRA & Confluence, Suncorp business and technology environment, and business and IT trends is desired.,
