Position description:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as GC, HPLC, IR, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Potentiometer, KF, Melting point.

• Calibration of instruments like IC, Fluoride analyser, HPLC, GC, IR, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Potentiometer, KF, Melting point.

• Analysis samples like finish product, raw material and in-process.

• Report the results of analysis like assay and related substances to his line manager, Kilo lab team and production (on later stage at Lote).

• Understand the specification and Method of Analysis (MOA) for raw materials, in-process controls, intermediates and finished products.

• Active participation in finalization of storage condition, retest date and packaging of finish product on the basis of stability study.

• Participate in internal and external audits.

• Method transfer of new projects and report preparation.

• Document preparation for General and instruments SOP.

• Knowledge of classical analysis/wet chemistry.

• Procure the chemicals, glassware, HPLC and GC columns.

Educational qualifications preferred

• Category:

  Chemistry

  Degree:

  Master of Science - M.Sc

  Required Certification/s:

Preferred: Specialization in Analytical Chemistry.

• Years of experience:

  3 to 5 years of work experience

Required Competencies:

Essential:

• Should have handled instruments like ion-chromatograph (IC) and Fluoride analyser in addition to other regular instruments like GC, HPLC, UV-IR.

• Positive approach for developing robust analytical methods.

• Should have knowledge of chemical analysis and reactions.

• Communication and team player.

• Computer knowledge

Preferred:

• Interpretation of spectral data.

Knowledge of ICH guideline and GLP practices.

Required Knowledge:

• Chemical reactions knowledge.

Chlorination

Fluorination

Nitration

Distillation

Knowledge of GC, HPLC, UV/IR, GC-Mass, KF, Ion-chromatograph, Quality systems.

Knowledge of Computer.
