About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Provide accounting guidance and support on
mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, divestitures
, and other complex transactions.
Research and interpret accounting standards (
IFRS, US GAAP, Ind AS
) and assist clients in implementing new accounting requirements.
Prepare clear and well-structured
technical accounting memos and reports
.
Assist in drafting and updating
accounting policies and procedures
for clients.
Support
financial reporting and consolidation
activities.
Benchmark client data and processes against industry standards to identify improvement areas.
Ensure
timely and high-quality deliverables
while managing client expectations.
Collaborate closely with Managers and Senior Managers on engagements and provide regular progress updates.

Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of
IFRS, Ind AS, or US GAAP
.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Technical accounting research and memo writing
Transaction accounting (IPOs, Carve-outs, Purchase Price Allocation)
GAAP conversions and new standard implementations
Accounting policy drafting
Consolidation and financial close support
Benchmarking and financial analysis

Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
.
Strong
written and verbal communication
abilities.
Ability to manage
multiple projects and meet deadlines
effectively.

Qualifications

CA / CPA (US) / ACCA (UK)
qualified.
2–8 years
of post-qualification experience in
financial accounting, technical accounting, or advisory services
.
Prior experience with a
Big 4 or consulting firm
will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

Proficiency in
MS Excel
and
MS Office tools
.
Keen interest in
business, finance, and emerging accounting topics
.
Flexibility to travel for short-term client assignments when required.
