Tech Team Lead

Job Description: You are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Tech Lead to join a dynamic team at vEngageai. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the architecture, development, and delivery of robust backend systems across the product line. As a Tech Lead, you will be hands-on with implementation while also guiding your team, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed. You will play a crucial role in connecting the dots across systems, teams, and technologies to deliver scalable and high-performing enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs focusing on scalability, security, and performance. - Architectural Ownership: Lead the architecture for backend systems, defining and refining system designs for long-term scalability and maintainability. - Project Involvement: Actively participate in all projects within the product line, understanding requirements, tracking progress, and providing strategic direction. - Team Guidance: Mentor developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Ensure the team understands project architectures and production operations. - Code Reviews & Implementation Oversight: Conduct detailed code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and lead implementation efforts on critical components. - Database Engineering: Architect and optimize relational and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval processes. - System Engineering: Monitor and optimize system-level performance and architecture to maintain high availability and reliability. - Distributed Systems: Build and maintain distributed architectures to support high availability, concurrency, and fault tolerance. - Containerization: Develop and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent container orchestration tools. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features, including frontend engineers, DevOps, QA, and product managers. - Connect the Dots: Align efforts across development, architecture, DevOps, and product strategy to ensure a holistic view of component interoperation and business impact. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in backend development, system engineering, or similar roles. - Proven experience as an individual contributor (IC) and architect in complex software systems. - Expertise in Python and strong knowledge of relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases. - Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, Git-based version control, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, agile environment.,
