Job Description

Responsibilities:Manage and maintain server infrastructure based on VMware, Hyper V, and Azure platforms
Provide 24/7 support for physical and virtual servers, including WTS/VDI hosting, patch management, and server lifecycle management
Handle firmware updates on host hardware (HPE Proliant DL, Synergy Blade Servers, Cisco UCS)
Administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi servers, virtual machine provisioning, and HA/DRS clusters
Perform troubleshooting and ticket resolution as per service catalog requirements
Install, de install, and refresh all physical server equipment and perform IMAC activities for virtual servers
Proactively monitor and resolve issues reported in vCenter Alarms, vROPS, and vRealize LogInsight
Maintain and support all CTW servers, ensuring uptime and availability
Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve faster issue resolution and improve SLA resolution timings
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continual service improvements
Mandatory Skills:Expert knowledge of Virtualization VMWare and Cloud Infrastructure solutions
More than 8 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in virtualization/server OS
Hands on experience with Powershell Scripting
Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
Proficient in VMWare Vsphere and VMware ESX 7 and later
Experience with Design IT process (ITSM/ITIL process), especially Incident Management, Change Management, and service level management
Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred Skills:Experience with HPE ProLiant DL systems and Synergy Blades
Knowledge of networking concepts and SQL
Familiarity with SCCM/Chef for patch management
