Job Description

This position requires working closely with the Business Unit (BU), Release Management Team, SCM, Dev Team, FTS to understand/document the release requirements, building CI/CD pipeline and support in release work

What you will do:

Manage and maintain build processes and tools, ensuring reliable and efficient build and deployment of software.
Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of build systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with development teams to establish building requirements and implement best practices for code integration.
Responsible to run cyber scans and ensure that dev teams are compliant as per guideline
Automate and streamline the build and release process to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Ensure that builds are properly versioned and documented, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
Provide guidance and support to development teams on build-related issues and best practices.
Monitor the build pipeline and perform regular audits to ensure adherence to standards and compliance with security practices.
Collaborate on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) efforts to enhance software delivery processes.
Evaluate and implement new build tools and technologies as needed to improve the build environment.

What you will need to have:

Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech
Minimum 8+ years of experience working as a Lead, Release Management
Must have experience on PowerShell, Harness, Jenkins, NEXUS and GIT
Good to have knowledge on Azure Administration; build experience on.NET, Java, VC; understanding of security scans T(Fortify, Sonatype, Web-inspect), Splunk and Python
Strong understanding of release management processes, software development life cycle (SDLC), and DevOps practices.
Experience in project management methodologies (eg, Agile, Scrum) and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills for collaboration with IT teams
Good experience in software development / installation / support / project management preferred.
Experienced in working with teams in different time zones including India, US
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management and reporting.
