Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Budgetary control:
Keep track on budgetary control incl requisitions Vs actual procured
Continuous Monitoring
: Ensure timely capitalization, tagging by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and reconciliations , Asset management ( involves accounting knowledge )
Asset Tracking:
Reporting ,Maintain detailed records of all fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
Auditing:
Ensure Audit compliances, regular audits to verify the existence and condition of assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Reporting:
Prepare and present reports on asset status, depreciation schedules, and financial impacts.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to manage asset lifecycle processes.
System Management:
Utilize asset management software to track and report on asset data.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements to asset management processes and systems.

Preferred candidate profile

A. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

B. Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

C. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

D. Attention to detail and accuracy.

E. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
