Job Description

You will be responsible for inspecting manufacturing parts for defects such as dimensional inconsistencies, bends outside tolerance, scratches, or improper finishing. You will utilize measuring tools, gauges, and visual inspection techniques for this purpose. Your key responsibilities will include: - Documenting your inspections and test results, including creating reports highlighting any non-conformances and recommendations for corrective actions. - Assisting in developing and implementing quality control procedures, which may involve creating checklists, inspection plans, and participating in supplier quality audits. - Conducting inspections and audits of products, services, or processes to ensure they meet the established quality standards, such as process audit & DOL audit. - Collating and evaluating supplier quality data. - Monitoring and reporting on supplier product quality and performance. - Preparing data for supplier Parts Per Million (PPM), supplier problem solving on time to support the improvement of supplier vendor ratings. - Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to quality control procedures, inspections, and audits. - Compiling data related to quality metrics, defect rates, and performance to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, casting, machining, or equivalent. - Strong leadership skills and abilities. - Committed to ongoing personal growth and skill enhancement through training and development courses. - Excellent verbal and written skills coupled with strong MS Office skills. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Strong organization and planning skills.
