Team Leader - Production Riveting

You will be responsible for operating manual, pneumatic, or hydraulic riveting tools as per production requirements. This includes loading rivets into machines and ensuring accurate alignment of workpieces. Additionally, you will perform hand riveting for specific or specialized tasks. Your role will also involve assembling parts and components based on technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions. It is crucial to ensure proper alignment and fit of components before riveting. You will be required to inspect riveted assemblies to ensure rivets are secure and meet defined quality standards. Using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify accuracy will be part of your quality assurance responsibilities. Maintenance of riveting equipment is essential, and you will need to conduct regular upkeep. Any malfunctions or safety concerns should be reported to the supervisor immediately. Adhering strictly to safety procedures and wearing necessary PPE at all times is mandatory. You must also ensure a safe working environment by following compliance guidelines. Keeping accurate records of completed work, quantities, and quality checks is vital.
