Job Description

As the Team Leader Production at FMC, you will play a crucial role in achieving production targets while prioritizing safety, quality, environmental standards, and cost efficiency. Your responsibilities will include leading day-to-day plant operations, enforcing EHS regulations, driving continuous improvement, monitoring KPIs, managing budgets, and ensuring timely dispatch of high-quality products. Collaboration across functions and fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and operational excellence will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure production targets are met by maintaining safety, environmental standards, quality, and cost efficiency. - Uphold compliance with FMC EHS standards and monitor regulatory requirements. - Enforce safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe workplace for all plant personnel. - Meet production targets and shipment deadlines by dispatching products that meet quality norms. - Communicate production progress, potential delays, and relevant information to stakeholders. - Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production performance, focusing on yield and consumption ratios. - Foster team building and create an environment that encourages innovation and improvement. - Collaborate with other managers to drive continuous improvement across all factory areas. - Ensure compliance with FMC Standards and relevant regulations applicable to the factory through strict adherence to compliance tools. - Prepare annual budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to approved budget. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major deviations in operations and implement recommendations to mitigate deviations. - Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and ensure compliance with PHA recommendations in the plant. - Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) daily to reduce production losses. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (B.E or B.Tech Chemical) with 13-16 years of experience, preferably in an agrochemical plant. - Strong communication skills, manpower management, team working, problem-solving abilities, adaptability in a dynamic production environment, accountability, discipline, commitment to high performance, successful budget preparation, expense monitoring, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
