Team Lead - Transport (BPO Night Shift)

As a Transport Team Lead for night-shift BPO operations in the logistics and transportation sector, you will be responsible for overseeing transport execution, SLA delivery, and vendor coordination across high-volume service accounts. Your role will involve leading a small operations team, ensuring SLA-driven dispatch and routing performance, managing vendor and client escalations, and driving continuous improvements using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and telematics data. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and coach the on-site night-shift transport team, supervise dispatchers, coordinators, and vendor drivers to meet SLAs and safety standards. - Oversee day-to-day dispatching, route adherence, and fleet utilization; adjust resources dynamically to maintain service levels during peak night operations. - Monitor KPIs and SLA metrics (OTD, utilization, incidents); prepare nightly performance reports and present trends to operations management. - Manage client and vendor relationships, coordinate escalations, resolve incidents promptly, and ensure timely communication to stakeholders. - Utilize TMS and telematics data to optimize routing, reduce costs, and improve on-time delivery; implement corrective actions and operational playbooks. - Enforce safety, compliance, and documentation standards; conduct shift handovers, audits, and root-cause analysis for recurring issues. **Qualifications Required:** **Must-Have:** - Transportation Management Systems experience - Fleet Management Systems knowledge - Telematics / GPS Tracking Platforms proficiency - Shift Operations Management skills **Preferred:** - Route Optimization expertise - Advanced MS Excel proficiency In this fast-paced BPO environment, you will have the opportunity for structured on-site support with clear progression into senior operations roles.
