Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supervise the shop-floor operations team (both Arrivals & Departures) and closely monitor/review the Team Sales focusing on employee productivity and improving operational efficiency for achieving sales targets.

A)

  • Accountable for the overall achievement of the Team Sales target
  • Sales monitoring through individual staff targets in achieving Category and Brand targets
  • Focus on Group travel and High Value merchandise to maximize revenue
  • Implement the incentive programs of KDF and Category to achieve the desired results

B)

  • Sales should be made as per the baggage allowances & LAGs and all billing related compliances must be followed
  • Internal SOPs of KDF need to be adhered to at all times
  • Adhere to the Fire Safety standards set by ARFF

C)

  • Ensure timely stock indenting, stock rotation and ageing stock liquidation
  • Stocks should be sold by FIFO and all Bonds should be closed within the stipulated Bond life
  • There should be no loss on account of Bond expiries and acceptable/ unavoidable loss due to product expiries, damages and pilferage
  • Support the Loss Prevention Team
  • Ensure the efficient usage of GWPs and other consumables like STEBs, shopping bags and billing stationery

D)

  • Availability and visibility of stocks through timely replenishments
  • Support the stock display as per the planograms given by the Category team
  • Support the printing of price tickets and offer signage
  • Implementing the promotions (including mega promotions, HPP and SPP)
  • To organize and maintain the back store inventory
  • Co-ordinate with the HK team in the cleanliness of the store

E)

  • Managing day-to-day store operations by scheduling and assigning the duties for the floor teams and following-up on the results
  • Team alignment to Business goals/ floor discipline/ compliance to company policies and processes

F)

  • Smooth functioning of the stores by having a good working relationship with the Batch & AIU Customs
  • Interact and co-ordinate with Airline staff, Security team and other stakeholders as required

G)

  • Support in implementation of Loyalty program
  • Support in resolving Customer grievances

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any Graduation Degree preferably with Diploma in Hospitality / Retail Sales
  • People Management - Leading a team of around 10 to 12 members covering Sales staff Cashiers
  • 8 - 10 years of experience, preferably with 3+ years of experience as a Team Leader /Store Manager
