Team Lead of Network Operations

As a Team Lead of Tier II / III Engineers at CBTS, your role involves the administration and support of network environments, covering WLAN, LAN/WAN, network management, security, and technical platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing scripting, planning, and executing network Change Management processes - Investigating network issues/incidents and resolving them within SLA parameters - Working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management teams - Consulting with customers to determine requirements and design solutions based on standards and best practices - Designing and ordering network hardware based on documented standards - Building detailed network drawings using Visio - Collaborating with an Agile team - Demonstrating a thorough understanding of BGP/EIRGP routing, NAT/PAT, VPN, and firewall technologies In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be expected to: - Provide day-to-day leadership to meet customer and project deliverables - Monitor and evaluate team processes and procedures - Interact directly with customers and serve as an escalation point for issues - Ensure team members are trained on technology and systems - Participate in solutions and service offerings - Research emerging technologies Qualifications required for this role are as follows: - Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - Certifications: CCNA/CCNP/Enterprise Route/Switch (required), Cisco Security Specialization, Palo Alto Certification, AVI, Cisco ACI (desirable) - Experience: 7-10 years - Skills: Clear communication, time management, independent work, presentation, understanding/experience with Agile methodology - Knowledge: Platforms such as F5 LTM/GTM, Cisco ASA/Palo Alto, Nexus, Cisco ASR/ISR routers, Cisco Catalyst switches, ITIL-based ticketing solutions (Service NOW), HSRP environment This position involves supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Manager-Tech Ops.
