Job Description

You will be a valuable addition to our rapidly growing company in the mobile gaming industry, dedicated to creating captivating gaming experiences. As a part of the Octro team, you will collaborate with talented professionals in the Indian gaming landscape, working on ambitious and rewarding projects. In this role, you will lead the backend development team, ensuring the timely delivery of project requirements. Your responsibilities will include mentoring engineers, working with technologies like Java and Spring, translating game requirements into efficient code, developing new backend services, creating schedules and milestones, implementing prototypes, writing unit tests, and collaborating with various teams to maintain product quality and usability. The ideal candidate must have graduated from a Tier-1 Engineering Institute with a good understanding of Rest APIs, programming languages such as Java and Typescript, and code versioning tools. Strong knowledge of Java frameworks, client-server applications, gaming experience, and familiarity with Jira will be advantageous.
