Job Description

Job Summary

Lead MERN Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance MERN stack applications.
Architect robust backend solutions using
Node.js, Express, Nest.js
, and frontend applications with
React.js & Next.js
.
Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a technical point of contact for clients, understanding requirements, and proposing optimal solutions.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Full-Stack Development:

Develop RESTful/GraphQL APIs using
Nest.js, Express, and MongoDB
.
Build server-side rendered (SSR) and static (SSG) applications using
Next.js
.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

DevOps & Deployment:

Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Vercel, etc.).
Implement automated testing (Jest, Cypress, etc.).

Team Collaboration:

Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and drive technical decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, Product Managers).

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years
of hands-on experience in
MERN stack
development.
Strong expertise in
Nest.js
(backend) and
Next.js
(frontend).
Proficiency in
TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), MongoDB, PostgreSQL
.
Experience with microservices, serverless architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Solid understanding of
REST/GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, JWT, OAuth
.
Familiarity with
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client discussions.
