Team Lead - Full Stack Development

As a Full Stack Developer at Shipway by Unicommerce, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. Your responsibilities will include architecting and maintaining microservice-based or modular backend systems, integrating and managing message queue systems like RabbitMQ or AWS SQS, working with MySQL and MongoDB databases, and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot production issues, and drive code quality, security, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend). - Architect and maintain microservice-based or modular backend systems. - Integrate and manage message queue systems like RabbitMQ/ AWS SQS for distributed processing. - Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases including schema design, optimization, and query tuning. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely solutions. - Drive code quality, security, and performance standards. - Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer. - Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express, and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with queueing systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS. - Solid understanding of MySQL and MongoDB. - Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and code review processes. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
