You will be responsible for managing multiple corporate Interior Design projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing a team of designers to ensure that the designs meet client expectations. You will plan, organize, and manage design projects throughout all stages of development. Additionally, you will verify BOQs prepared by the Procurement team and review GFCs and construction drawings before they are sent to the site. Your role will involve working closely with project managers to address any design changes needed during the construction phase. It is essential to stay updated on the latest trends in the Real estate industry and incorporate innovative ideas to maintain project budgets. Collaborating with senior management, you will develop a strategic vision and long-term plan for corporate real estate and workplace design initiatives. Market research and analysis will be conducted to identify emerging trends and best practices in workplace design. You will lead a team of designers, architects, and consultants to create inspiring and functional corporate real estate and workplace designs. Providing design direction, guidance, and feedback to ensure work meets company standards will be crucial in this role. Managing the entire design process, including concept development, space planning, interior design, and furniture selection, will be part of your responsibilities. Establishing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution is key. You will coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants involved in the design and construction process. Engaging with senior executives, department heads, and employees to understand their needs for the workplace environment is essential. Building strong relationships with external partners, such as contractors and furniture suppliers, to ensure smooth collaboration and project delivery is also important. Compliance with local building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards will be a priority. Incorporating sustainable design principles into corporate real estate projects to promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental responsibility is another aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Design, Bylaws, codes, and standards relevant to interior fitouts. Being tech-savvy and having experience in adopting digital and technology initiatives successfully will be beneficial. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit (preferable), Microsoft Office Suite, and Photoshop is expected. The ideal candidate will have 12-16 years of experience in Corporate/Commercial/workplace interior fit-out projects.
