Team Lead - 3D Visualization

What This Role Holds for You

• Lead and mentor a 3D visualization team, managing people, project timelines, and resource planning.
• Directly handle client communication, requirement gathering, presentations, and feedback.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality 3D 360 interactive tours, walkthroughs, and photorealistic renders.
• Provide expert guidance on 3DS Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and architectural visualization best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, tech & product) to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into overall project goals.
• Introduce new workflows, automation, or plugins to improve quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the 3D team to meet deadlines and maintain top-tier quality standards.
• Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear understanding of project scope and deliverables.
• Review and interpret architectural plans (AutoCAD, PDF, SketchUp) and translate them into accurate, detailed 3D models.
• Supervise creation of low-poly and hard-surface models, UVW mapping, texturing, lighting, and camera placement for still images and 360 outputs.
• Conduct regular quality checks and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot complex technical or rendering issues and implement innovative solutions.
• Stay current with emerging visualization tools, rendering engines, and industry trends.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance reviews of the 3D team.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, 3D Animation, or related field.
• 6–8 years of strong 3D visualization experience with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise with 3DS Max, V-Ray, and Photoshop; solid knowledge of walkthrough and animation workflows.
• Strong understanding of materials, lighting techniques, and rendering for photo-realistic results.
• Demonstrated experience in interactive 3D/360 tours and immersive environments (VR/AR exposure is a plus).
• Excellent leadership, people management, and client-handling skills, including conflict resolution and team motivation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Enthusiasm for adopting new software and innovative visualization methods.
