Teacher/Senior Teacher History

As a Senior Teacher for History at Neev, your role involves educating students by planning and developing courses of study according to Neev curriculum guidelines and school requirements. You will tailor and differentiate courses of study and lessons to meet the individual needs of students" levels of academic ability and previous achievement. Your responsibilities will include developing and presenting lesson plans using a variety of teaching models and techniques to create a positive and stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and develop courses of study according to Neev curriculum guidelines and school requirements - Tailor and differentiate courses of study to meet individual students" academic needs - Develop and present lesson plans using various teaching models and techniques - Plan the indoor and outdoor environment to provide a creative and stimulating context for learning - Prepare resources to support curriculum delivery indoors and outdoors - Observe, monitor, and assess students" progress - Prepare assignments, tests, and homework for in-school assessment - Maintain discipline and child safety standards in classrooms, on campus, and during bus duties - Create a safe, secure, and healthy educational environment - Provide pastoral support to students through academic or personal difficulties - Keep parents informed of students" progress through academic records and parent-teacher conferences - Support students during additional study periods, clubs, field trips, and school events - Stay updated on job knowledge through professional development opportunities Qualifications Required: - Post-Graduate Degree in History - PGDIE/CIDTL/B.Ed. preferred For DP Teachers: - Contribute to ToK development in the subject area - Supervise Extended Essays and CAS activities as allotted Join Neev to make a positive impact on students" development and achieve the mission and values of the school by implementing the IB's strategic plan.,
