As an experienced educator holding a B.Ed and Degree(s) in Biology with proven knowledge in your specialism, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education at our school in Bangalore, India (Yemalur). With a minimum of 4 years of experience in an IB school, you will have a solid foundation to excel in this role. In addition to your academic qualifications and experience, it is desirable for you to have knowledge of MYP and DP as well as the Indian Exam Board. Your role goes beyond being a great educator; you will be instrumental in shaping the academic growth of our students. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering courses of study in line with curriculum guidelines and school requirements. You will focus on developing key skills in Biology across all grades, from MYP to DP. Tailoring and differentiating courses and lessons to meet the diverse needs of students will be a key aspect of your role. Moreover, you will be expected to research new topic areas, create curriculum materials, and utilize various teaching models and techniques to engage students effectively. Regularly assessing students" progress, preparing assignments, and maintaining accurate records are essential duties. Communicating students" performance and overall development to parents during parent-teacher conferences is also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should stay updated on developments in your subject area, teaching resources, and methods. Adapting your instructional plans and activities based on these developments will ensure a dynamic learning environment for our students.
