Employment Opportunity – TBM-AVN Operator (Microtunneling Works)

We are currently seeking an experienced TBM-AVN Operator to join our team for upcoming microtunneling works.

Position: TBM-AVN Operator

Location: Morocco

Type: Full-time / Project-based

Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor AVN Microtunneling Boring Machines (TBM) safely and efficiently during tunneling works.

* Ensure proper machine setup, alignment, and operation in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

* Carry out daily inspection, maintenance checks, and minor troubleshooting of TBM systems (hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical).

* Collaborate closely with site engineers, surveyors, and support crews to maintain productivity and alignment.

* Maintain accurate daily logs of machine performance, advance rates, and encountered ground conditions.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all times.

Requirements:

* Minimum 10 years of proven experience operating AVN microtunneling machines (Herrenknecht AVN or equivalent).

* Strong technical knowledge of slurry systems, guidance systems, pumps, and jacking stations.

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues quickly and effectively.

* Previous experience working in microtunneling projects under various soil conditions (sand, silt, clay, rock).

* Familiarity with pipe jacking techniques and shaft works.

* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

* Ability to work in a multinational, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certification or training in TBM operation, mechanical/hydraulic systems, or tunneling equipment.

* Experience on large-scale infrastructure or utility projects.

* Good communication skills (English required; additional languages are a plus).
